nothing amazing there, not really worth fishing considering sooke has pretty good fishing over all.

shields is pretty awesome I haven't had alot of chance to fish it but if you head up there send me a PM we can do a DRZ fishing trip

I went in by Young Lake Rd. Just went under the gate. I also made it back into Tugwell lake too. Some quad riders told me Tugwell is fished out. Came out at Anderson Main. I'm going on holidays for a couple weeks Howe. I'll pm ya when I return and we'll head out.

That would be interesting to see.
I'm thinking of a Scott's steering damper to make trips like that a little easier.

Depending how far down the dirt road the Lake is... my hiking boots fit just fine on the back of my bike... I LOVE FISHING!!

tug well lake isn't fished out, it's got good fishing actually...

and shields is an hours hike if I remeber, not that I've ever hiked it...I'm too lazy bikes, quads and mountain bikes.

Maybe they just weren't on the bite on sunday. I had good luck at the two reservoirs a few weeks ago... just using a small spinner.

But we did catch some at Bear Creek.. even a rare flying rainbow trout....

uhhh yeah, they fly quite well......need to work on the landings tho
